Impetus's R&D division iLabs has pioneered the unique integration of Drupal and LifeRay platforms with Google's Open Social technology by means of Apache's Shindig framework. This is the world's first of its kind integration which endows with a ready framework for Social Networking and OpenSocial associated businesses to leverage the power of Drupal/Liferay. Similar to Drupal, Liferay has "portlet" based modular development.
