The Client: The client is a leading performance marketing services provider. Their services help their customers who are their advertisers and their distribution partners to generate revenue through the use of internet advertising.
The client had decided to use offshore resources to solve a shortage of talent in their locale and found Impetus to be the best company matching their requirements. They required excellent documentation skills along with extremely optimized architecture solutions for their work.
The Challenge: The client connects millions of targeted buyers (end users) with targeted sellers (advertisers) at exactly the right time every day. It sells advertisers targeted ads that appear in response to user-entered keywords. Advertisers pay based on how often users click on their ads and offers. Distribution partners realize a revenue share of that payment.
The client required an application, which can act as an efficient interface between distribution partners and the client to use their services.
Another challenge for the client was to manage the diverse partners' accounts
The Impetus solution: Impetus developed and deployed a three-tier ASP.Net application accessible by the client's distribution partners. These partners can sign in using this interface to use the client's services. They can manage their own accounts, view reports, and check the status of the account.
Using this interface, the partners can also configure and design search pages and ad units for their website.
To efficiently manage the diverse partners' account, Impetus designed and developed an in-house back-office application that is used to review and manage the partner's accounts. It provides a reporting interface for the finance team, and helps perform basic operations such as processing payments and calculating revenue for all the partners. It generates monthly reports on revenue for the finance team to plan and manage partner payments.
